Hiking and Trekking is not something that came natural to me. I was first introduced to trekking by my arts teacher when I was in the VIIIth Std. We went on a trip to the Sinhgad Fort and I still remember it very vividly, the way I struggled and panted on my way to the top. From then on I never looked back and have trekked to quite a few places. Many of the forts I trekked to were built by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, one of the great kings of India who ruled Maharashtra in the 17th century.
